NOISE EFFICIENCY OF INOAC SOUND ABSORPTION COVER SHEET
The chart below shows the sound absorption efficiency of the INOAC Sound Absorption Cover Sheet which is determined by measuring the noise of water flowing in a PVC pipe with the case of using and unusing INOAC product in a standard quiet environment.
The noise when passing through the PVC pipe is partly reflexted in the tube, partly passed through (the larger noise has been reflexted, the less noise passing through), noise outside the tube will be reduce and eliminate.
After covering the drainage pipe with INOAC sound absorption cover sheet, the soundproofing & noise reduction effect is clearly demonstrated. Especially when the noise level with higher frequency (> 800 Hz), the better noise reduction effect.

– Use the correct cover sheet fit to pipe size.
– Dry and clean the surface of the pipe before installation to ensure the best result of the adhesive tape
– For connecting pipes with multiple angles (for example: 45, 90 90 Elbow pipe), after covering the pipe, it is necessary to cover the gap with joint tape to maintain the best result.
– After finish the installation , it’s necessary to attach Joint tape to cover the gap in the connection part, and fix the cover sheet with zip tie.
– The most suitable time to cover the sound absorption cover sheets is after completing the drainage system, and the engineering box has not been built yet.
– In other cases, depending on the actual construction status, the distributor will give appropriate advice, ensuring the required quality.
